Ceramics 2314 is an intermediate level course covering the discipline of ceramics.
Students explore three dimensional design while developing both useful and sculptural forms.
Students will be able to recognize and describe common ceramic crystal structures.
There is no pre requisite for this class.
Both the functional and sculptural ceramic traditions will be explored.
This course is intended for those studying ceramics for the first time and is a comprehensive introduction to the craft of clay working.
